Privacy policy
How the platform handles your information: what we collect, what we never do, and how text messages work.
The short version
- You can search, compare and benchmark pricing without an account and without giving your name.
- We share your contact details with a provider only when you ask for an introduction or submit an urgent request.
- We identify visiting companies, never individual people.
- Contact details given with a review or assessment are never used for marketing.
- Your mobile number and text message consent are never shared with or sold to anyone for marketing.
What we collect

Text messages (SMS)
If you give us a mobile number, we text it only for the purpose you gave it for:
- Providers: verification codes when you claim a profile and, if you turn them on, lead and urgent request alerts.
- Businesses that submit an urgent request: updates on that request, such as when a provider accepts it.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Full details are in the SMS terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the sharing described in this policy, except with the text delivery vendor that sends the messages on our behalf.
Company-level visitor identification
Like many business websites, TrueRankMSP uses a service that matches the network a visit comes from to a company name. This works for some office networks and not for home or mobile connections. The result is a company name, an industry and a size band.
- It does not identify a person. We do not use person-level identification tools of any kind.
- Providers on the Premium plan see aggregate signals, such as how many businesses in a state compared providers in a week. Metro-level detail is shown only above 5,000 monthly visitors.
- To opt out, email privacy@truerankmsp.com from an address at your company domain. We add the company to a suppression list and stop associating visits with it.
How we use it
- To deliver what you asked for: matches, introductions, an urgent response, a benchmark.
- To follow up on introductions we made, 30 and 90 days later, to ask whether you hired and how it is going.
- To produce aggregate statistics such as the Pricing Index. Cuts with fewer than 10 data points are not published.
- To detect fraud and abuse.
What we never do
- We never sell personal contact details as a list.
- We never market to, or build lists from, anyone identified as an existing client of a listed provider.
- We never use a reviewer's or assessment user's contact details for marketing, and never give them to the provider being rated.
- We never tell a provider which named individual viewed its profile.
Who we share with
- Providers you are introduced to. Only after you request it, and we show you which providers.
- Service vendors that run the platform for us: hosting, email and text delivery, payment processing, analytics, visitor identification. They act on our instructions.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Reviews and consent
Ratings you give in a pricing assessment or follow-up are published as a review only if you tick the consent box. Published reviews show your industry and a company size band, never your name or company. Every reviewer sees the same next step whatever rating they give. You can ask us to remove your review at any time.

TrueRankMSP does not use advertising cookies. This pre-launch page sets no cookies at all.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt your company out of visitor identification. Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights. Requests go to privacy@truerankmsp.com and are answered within 30 days. Sections on specific state laws, retention periods and international transfers are to be completed by counsel.
